Inventory Manager

Kampala, Uganda

As our Inventory Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that stock levels are accurately tracked and well-distributed across our locations. You’ll manage everything from overseeing deliveries and inventory counts to maintaining our ERP system (Odoo), guaranteeing that our stores are always stocked with the latest styles. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the entire inventory process, including tracking goods from producers to stores.
  • Oversee stock distribution to our locations and ensure efficient flow across all channels.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process incoming goods, including quality checking and tagging of items before distribution.
  • Utilize our ERP system (Odoo) to manage inventory levels and forecast needs.
  • Work closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and store managers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper inventory storage and maintain accurate records of all stock movements.

Requirements


  • You have a degree in logistics or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) or similar platforms.
  • Practical thinking & execution.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Experience in the clothing or retail industry is a plus.
